FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering particularly to the machines designed to harvest cucurbits crops. The pickup loader has a swath maker, roller and a fruit lifting drum with blades inside of which there is a tray to receive fruit. The blades are made as a framework with elestic coating and curvature on the side of the external rim towards the movement direction along the radius equal mean radius of the picked up fruit and secured between the external rim and internal framework of the drum. The blades are mounted rigidly to the internal framework by means of compound arms whose external part connected with the external rim is manufactured from viscoelestic material with shape memory. There is an elestic network secured between the arms of the blades. The framework of the blades has internal elastic coating. The side of the blade framework on the side of the input window has an elastic coating on the outside. The side wall of the blade space on the opposite side of the input windows is closed by the elastic network. On the outside the fruit-lifting brum is wrapped with straps made of the material with shape memory and the distance between the straps is (0.9-0.95) d_min of the minimum diametre of the picked up fruit. Fixation of the prescribed distance between the straps is ensured by cross bars of the blades. There are grousers at the external ends of the blades on the cross bars. Preparation of a swath from the fruit of cucurbits crops is ensured by the swath maker, the roller is designed to supply fruit into the interblade space and their working unit is a plank positioned at an angle of 40…45° towards the movement by means of a carrier and a feeler wheel.
