FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agricultural mechanical engineering, in particular to the machines intended for harvesting cucurbits crops. The drum-type pickup contains fruit-pickup drum with cells and the tray for reception of fruits located inside. The cells are made in the form of the elastic paddles fixed between an external rim and an internal drum ring. The paddles are deviated from a radius direction clockwise on an angle of 30-35°. The frame of paddles is closed by an elastic grid and has an internal elastic covering. The side frame of the paddle frame has also an elastic covering from the side of an entrance window. The lateral wall of paddle space from an opposite side of entrance windows is covered by a board protected with an elastic covering. From outside the fruit-pickup drum is covered by infinite belts, the distance between them is equal to the size of the minimum standard fruits. The set distance between the belts is provided by the distance bars. The grousers are provided at external end faces of the plates on belts. The swath maker is provided for preparation of a swath made from cucurbits crops. The roller is provided for supply of fruits in the space between paddles of the fruit-pickup drum, its main working body is the lath established under an angle of 40-45° to direction of movement using a drawbar and the gauge-wheel.

EFFECT: increase of productivity and operational reliability, decrease of fruit damaging.
