FIELD: production of hot-rolled products, preferably reinforcement steel, and thermal processing of hot-rolled products.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing interrupted quenching in water flow and continuously varying duration of forced cooling to self-tempering temperature at initial stage with mass-average temperature of rolled product of at least 700 C.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in continuous variation of forced cooling time, in particular, self-tempering temperature providing high homogeneity of properties of strengthened rolled product, and wider range of sizes of short rolled products.
