SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with the composition of white iron. The cast iron in question contains the components in the following ratio, weight%: carbon 3.0-3.8; silicon 3.0-3.5; manganese 0.6-1.2; molybdenum 0.2-0.6; magnesium 0.03-0.08; copper 0.2-0.6; cerium 0.1-0.2; titanium 0.4-0.8; hafnium 1.0-1.8; iron - the rest. The innovation provides increased thermal shock resistance of the cast iron.
EFFECT: increased thermal shock resistance.
