METHOD TO CONTROL ZONE OF LEAKAGE UNDER BLADE PLATFORM Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F01D5/22

FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbomachines.

SUBSTANCE: bladed runner of turbomachine contains disk with assembly of cells on periphery arranged in axial direction. Bases of blades are held in cells. Blades from platform designed for limiting movement of gas flow from inner side of channel in radial direction, and walls arranged in radial direction, front and rear in direction of flow, passing from said platforms in direction of peripheral part of said platforms in direction of peripheral part of said disk. Interblade spaces are limited by platforms and peripheral part of disk. Sealing devices of said interblade spaces are made in form of sealing jackets with edges widening inwards in radial direction and arranged in said spaces opposite to walls of platforms of two adjacent blades. Each sealing jacket has some elastic zone on one of its widening edges, front or rear in direction of flow. Radial walls adjoining said edge are connected with blade platforms by means of inner surfaces tilted relative to radial plane to which said elastic zone is pressed for sliding in radial direction inwards in case of stopping of rotation of blade runner and with possibility of sliding radially outwards under action of centrifugal forces so that said sealing jacket moves in axial direction to radial walls at a distance from said elastic zone to improve sealing in said zone.

EFFECT: provision of control of zone of leakage under blade platform.
