FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel systems of diesel engines. Proposed device designed for disconnection of part of plungers of V-type high-pressure fuel pump, mainly, at idling and low-load operation of multicylinder diesel engine, has governor connected with driving fuel feed rack of fuel pump connected with driven rack of fuel pump connected with driven rack of fuel pump by lever whose end faces in form of pins are fitted in slots of racks. Pin of lever is fitted in slot of driven rack with clearance providing stationary position of rack corresponding to fuel cut off position. One of sides of driven rack slot has inclined section corresponding to change over to full fuel feed, and straight-line section at lever outlet perpendicular to rack travel. Driven rack is furnished with extension spring secured on fuel pump housing on which zero fuel feed stop is installed.
EFFECT: provision of stepless control of vehicle owing to stepless control of engine torque.
