FIELD: household appliances.

SUBSTANCE: proposed gas burner for domestic gas cookers designed for heating kitchen pots and pans has first grooves to let out heating flame. First grooves are interrupted according to parts of support fitted over burner forming obstacle to flame reaching kitchen pots. Support for kitchen pots is provided with positioners mating with corresponding holding part installed on burner to provide centering and arrangement of support for kitchen pots in preliminarily set angular position relative to burner. Said positioners are provided with undercut and step. Width of undercut is equal to width of burner cover and depth is approximately equal to thickness of burner cover. Gas burner has second grooves to move flame, said second grooves being uniformly spaced in areas of interruption of first grooves. Support for kitchen pot has closed flat central part, and burner has the same outline as closed flat central part, so flame getting out through first grooves directly reaches kitchen pot after simple sliding along sides of support for said pot. Closed flat central part of support is made square, with slightly concave sides and is provided with four projecting parts directed from angles of closed flat central part. Support for kitchen pot is provided with four joints, four vertical posts, each found on end of joint, and joints form cross, being connected to each other.

EFFECT: provision of burner in which flame can get to kitchen pot even in case when support for kitchen pot contains members overlapping the burner.
