FIELD: sighting devices for small arms.
SUBSTANCE: the sighting device with an electrical lighting unit has a switch that is positioned either in or on the sighting device for engagement with the actuating member intended for setting the weapon at ready to fire. At the instant when the weapon is set at ready by action on the actuating member the forced switching-an of the lighting unit is accomplished. A release of the sear notch causes a forced switching-off of the lighting unit by the switch. Preferably the switch is actuated in a contactless manner, to this end, the switch made in the form of a sealed-contact reed relay especially suits for the purpose. The switch may also serve as a component of the set for additional equipment. The switch of the set for additional equipment substitutes the services-produced switch manually controlled irrespective of the small arms.
EFFECT: enhanced convenience and safety of use of the sight lighting enhanced service life of the battery cells.
