FIELD: sighting mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: the sighting mechanism for firearm has an indication device, which is a component of the mechanism for measurement of the distance to the target and brings it to the shooter's field of vision. Part of the measuring device components is positioned in the firearm. The sighting mechanism has an interface with the aid of which the components of the measuring device located in the sighting mechanism or on it are coupled to the measuring device components positioned in the firearm. To this end, the respective interface and part of the measuring device components are available on the firearm.
EFFECT: provided safety and convenience of use of the firearm, the firearm is made compact and lighter.
