FIELD: electrical and radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is meant for technology of manufacture of high-frequency high-voltage vacuum switches. It refers to testing of contact pressure in them after they are sealed off from system on completion of vacuum-thermal treatment. Method involves measurement of resistance of circuit of closed contacts, passing of 50 Hz alternating or direct current with value exceeding at least fivefold rated value of high-frequency current, keeping under current load with stable voltage of power supply source for at least 100 times lesser duration of passing of rated high-frequency current, measurement of voltage drop across contacts after expiration of endurance time and comparison of obtained value with value of voltage drop under optimum contact pressure. Novelty of method consists in limiting of current passed through contact only by resistance of closed circuit of contacts when measuring voltage drop. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and improved reliability of testing.
