SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the mechanical engineering industry and can be used 4 trapping of the mechanical impurities during transportation of the liquids by the pipelines, for example, petroleum. The filter-mud trap contains the chamber with the inlet and outlet fitting pipes, inside the chamber there is the filtering device made in the form of the perforated pipe with the bottom and the detachable filtering component made in the form of the net. The filtering device is connected to the chamber by means of the brackets with the screw bolts mounted along the perimeter of the internal cavity of the chamber and the idle rollers mounted in the lower part of the cavity of the chamber, and having the guides for the device moving out, and also the gate. The end gate is supplied with contracting and slewing devices, and the bottom of the filtering device is made solid with the pits. The end opposite to the bottom is manufactured in the form of the sheared off cone and is located in the inlet fitting pipe. The filtering component is disposed inside the perforated pipe. The area of the net mesh is less than area of the transfer hole of perforation of the pipe. Besides, in the butts of the guides there are the pits. The invention allows to reduce considerably the metal consumption of the product and to improve the quality of filtration.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the considerable reduction of the metal consumption of the product and the improved quality of the filtration.
