FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of facing panels.

SUBSTANCE: method for making corrugated sections comprises steps of increasing number of corrugations in second and several next transitions due to simultaneously shaping at each side of ready section cross corrugations with periodical pitch and one lengthwise corrugation; using shaping mill having roll grooved pass in its stands in the form of two pairs of upper and lower shaping rollers, two pairs of upper and lower lateral calibrating rollers and one pair of central calibrating rollers, upper and lower, arranged between shaping rollers. Roll grooved passes of second and next stands include also two additional upper and lower central calibrating rollers, two upper and lower lateral calibrating rollers and one pair of spacing sleeves. Upper central calibrating rollers have two built-in shaping punches; lower central calibrating has respective grooves; additional lower central calibrating rollers have grooves for cross corrugation shaped in roll pass of previous stand. Spacing sleeves of respective stands are mounted between additional central calibrating rollers, Upper rolls are driven ones; lower rolls are joined with drive unit through driving pinions arranged by cantilever fashion. Runners of coil uncoilers have outer diameter corresponding to outer diameter of calibrating rollers of roll grooved passes of working stands.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method, improved design of mill.
