FIELD: transport engineering; building of ground-effect craft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ground-effect craft has fuselage with top and lower wings provided with side washers and arranged according to biplane configuration; craft is also provided with vertical and horizontal tails, booster and cruise engines, control system, top wing in tail section at sweepback of leading edge, slats and slotted flaps; top wing is variable-geometry wing; lower wing is rectangular in plan; it has flat lower surface and flaps; its side washers are made in form of floats-skegs; distance between top wing and lower wing exceeds chord of top wing. Booster engine is located inside nose fuselage and is provided with gas discharge nozzles for directing the gas jets under lower wing, thus forming air cushion. Located in nose section of craft are third and fourth wings which consist of two aerodynamic cantilever wings having adjustable angles of attack alternating in sign at sweepback of leading edge with slats and slotted flaps provided with aerodynamic vanes at tips in form of vertical plates. Height of fourth wing relative to bearing underlying surface exceeds height for the third wing located in nose section of craft but is lesser than height for wing located in tail section of craft.
