SUBSTANCE: proposed aluminum-base cast iron contains the following components, mass-%: carbon, 2.2-2.6; silicon, 0.15-0.3; manganese, 0.1-0.2; aluminum, 19.0-25.0; copper, 3.5-5.0; phosphorus, 0.07-0.15; zirconium, 0,07-0,15; calcium, 0.005-0.01; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced machinability of cast iron.
