SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to cast iron composition. It can be used to manufacture the parts of thermal generating units. Aluminium cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 2.2-2.6; silicon 0.1-0.2; manganese 0.1-0.2; aluminium 19.0-25.0; copper 3.4-4.0; phosphorus 0.1-0.14; zirconium 0.12-0.18; selenium 0.05-0.1; indium 0.06-0.08; the rest is iron.
EFFECT: production of the cast iron that can be machined well.
