FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel equipment of diesel engines. Proposed unit injector has drive mechanism, plunger, plunger barrel and needle. Drive mechanism is made in form of hydraulic drive consisting of hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic piston. Plunger has through central hole with seat for needle valve. Lower end of plunger barrel has needle with differential platform and it is arranged in cylindrical tip. Seat for needle of plunger barrel is made in inner space of cylindrical tip. Plunger barrel is loaded by plate springs. Housing of unit injector is provided with two unions for fastening flexible fuel lines providing circulation of fuel and cooling of parts of unit injector. Hydraulic drive is provided with device to turn hydraulic drive housing both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Hydraulic drive can be made separate for each cylinder or of unit design.
EFFECT: simplified design of unit injector.
