SUBSTANCE: proposed method for withdrawing air-hydrogen electrochemical generator that has hydrogen supply circuit, air supply circuit with injector, alkali electrolyte circulation circuit with pump, heat exchanger, and drain tank from service that involves disconnection of power load includes hydrogen supply and electrolyte drain to electrolyte tank; electrolyte temperature is reduced prior to shutting off hydrogen supply by pumping hydrogen through heat exchanger, air injector is turned off, electrolyte circulation is shut off, and air supply circuit is brought in communication with hydrogen supply circuit upon draining electrolyte.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure, improved mass, size, and specific power characteristics.
