FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used in cleaning apparatus of combine.
SUBSTANCE: baffle-type screen has frame, baffle made in the form of combs attached to rotating crank shafts of combs, adjustment plank and baffle opening adjusting mechanism. Adjustment plank is formed from front, middle and rear parts. Baffle opening adjustment mechanism has upper, middle and lower sections and three rotating levers with pins. Said sections of adjustment mechanism are rigidly connected with each other through bushings and threaded connections. Three rotating levers with pins are joined to respective three parts of adjustment plank by means of rigid tie-rods equipped with openings. Rotating levers are mounted on single shaft and are retained by means of crown nut. Such construction of baffle-type screen allows it to be adjusted in optimal manner for various kinds of crops.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced grain losses.
