SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the municipal economy for the disposal of sewage sludge by incineration together with other non-recyclable waste. Slurry of the sewage sludge with a solids content of 3 to 5 % is mixed with a coal dust suspension containing 3 to 5 % of the solid phase, then treated with a flocculant or a mixture of flocculants, the resulting mixture is dewatered in a centrifuge to a residual moisture content of 85–70 % and burned.

EFFECT: method provides a reduction in energy consumption when disposing sludge of domestic sewage while simultaneously utilizing large-scale waste from the coal industry – coal dust.
