SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of mechanical engineering industry, in particular, to the equipment of cutting of the tire casings and their parts, for example, the frame-breaker-tread strip of the tire manufactured from the laminated material including several layers of the rubber reinforced by the textile and metallic cord. The device for cutting of the tire with the metal cord includes the metallic disk with the pit and the disk metallic blade with the blade end. The device is made with the thickness of the metallic blade exceeding the pit width in the metallic disk. The part of each surface of the blade end of the blade is made conical. The other part of each surface of the blade end is made in the form of the part of the surface of the pseudosphere. Each surface of the part of the blade end of the blade being inside the disk pit at the contact of the blade and the disk is made conical. Each surface of the part of the blade end being outside the disk pit at the contact of the blade with the disk is partially made in the form of the surface of the pseudosphere and partially - in the form of the conical surface. The invention ensures the cutting of the frame-breaker-tread strip of the tires irrespective of the number of the reinforced layers and the ratio of the dimensions of the filaments of the metallic and textile cord with the overall dimensions of the device and the capability of the complete cutting of the frame-breaker-tread strip of the tires.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the capability of the complete cutting of the frame-breaker-tread strip of the tires irrespective of the number of the reinforced layers and of the dimensions of the metallic and textile cord filaments and the device.
