SUBSTANCE: metal-cord tire cutting device represents a metal roller furnished with a recess and a metal disk-like knife. Note that the knife thickness exceeds the said metal roller recess width and the taper surfaces of the knife blade making a cutting edge are in contact with the recess outer edges. Note also that the roller surface has two cutting edges separated by the recess, each of the said edges being formed by two taper surfaces. Note also that generating lines of the blade taper surfaces are arranged at an angle approximating to that between the generating lines of taper surfaces of every cutting edge of the roller in the device section plane wherein axes of rotation of the knife and roller are located and which passes through the zone of contact between the roller and knife.
