FIELD: equipment for cutting of autotyres and their components, for example, the tire carcass-breaker-tread band, manufactured of laminated material, containing several layers of rubber reinforced by a textile and metal cord.

SUBSTANCE: the device for cutting of a tire with a metal cord has a metal wheel with a recess and a metal blade with a cutting edge. The cutting edge of the metal blade is made with a surface similar to the surface of a pseudosphere. The thickness of the metal blade exceeds the width of the recess in the metal wheel.

EFFECT: provided cutting of the tire carcass-breaker-tread band irrespective of the quantity of reinforced layers and relations between the dimensions of filaments of the metal and textile cords with the overall dimensions of the device.
