FIELD: apparatus for calibrating extruded endless shapes such as tubes.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes large number of segments arranged along circle. Inner surfaces of segment together form calibrating opening. Each separate segment includes respective calibrating body. Calibrating bodies are arranged along circle in housing in such a way axially adjacent bodies are partially overlapped in circumferential direction for restricting calibrating opening. Each segment body is joined at least with one actuating device for holding separate segment bodies in housing and regulating each separate segment body in radial direction. Segment bodies are made of single blank. Inner side of segment body forms contour necessary for forming calibrating opening. In other variant of invention segment bodies are made of single blank and they have inserts for forming said contour.
EFFECT: simplified process for making easily mounted apparatus.
