FIELD: manufacture of helicopters; light flying vehicles of safe vertical takeoff and landing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed helicopter has load-bearing frame on which landing gear, stabilizing control surface with rods, cabin and fuel tank are secured. Helicopter is also provided with power plant and two coaxial rotors revolving in opposite directions. Power plant is made in form of engine frame and radial internal combustion engine provided with air cooling system, revolving cylinder block and two power takeoff shafts located coaxially on opposite sides of engine for rotation in opposite directions. Engine with rotors is mounted inside engine frame. Engine is located between fixed-pitch main rotors. Engine frame is connected with load-bearing frame with the aid of articulation cross-piece mounted coaxially relative to power takeoff shaft axis and telescopic strut located behind cabin on peripheral part of engine frame. Fuel tank is located between telescopic strut and cabin and stabilizing control surface is located behind telescopic strut.
EFFECT: enhanced operational and economical efficiency; reduced usage of metal; reduced mass and overall dimensions of helicopter; enhanced controllability.
