FIELD: packages for flowable food products.
SUBSTANCE: method for sealed package production of sleeve blank precut of sheet packing material having free opposite edges involves supplying blank to corresponding shaping mandrel; sealing one blank end on the mandrel to create container with opened opposite end; removing container from mandrel and sterilizing container before container filling with flowable food product. Before container sterilization container is preheated by mandrel heating. Packing machine comprises sealing working station for the first blank end sealing so that the blanks are opened from opposite sides and sterilizing working station for container sterilization. Sealing working station includes a number of shaping mandrels cooperating with corresponding blanks and moving along predetermined path of blank conversion into containers having opened ends. Sealing working station has heating means for mandrel heating.
EFFECT: decreased amount of residual sterilizing agent in packaged product.
