FIELD: metallurgy, mining and coal industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conveyor transport, namely, to belt conveyors. Proposed roller of belt conveyor has hollow cylindrical housing, axle, bearing and set of sealing members installed on axle having wave form of surface in place of fitting of sealing members which are arranged inside cups at end faces of housing and furnished with stop members. Each cup has oiler whose output communicates with surface of engagement of cup and rigid ring with pockets opened to side of sealing members and provided with passages to deliver oil to sealing members and to outer surface of axle and arranged in between. Rigid ring is installed with clearance relative to axle. Inner end face surface of cup is made wave-shaped, and end section of axle and cup out of the limits of fitting of sealing members is made with taper from 1.5 to 5 degrees.

EFFECT: increased reliability of roller and its service life.
