FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polyolefin mother batch, which can be used for obtaining polyolefin compositions suitable for manufacturing relatively large products by method of casting moulding. The mother batch composition contains a propylene homopolymer or a copolymer of propylene with ethylene or C4-C10 alpha olefins, which has a value of the melt flow rate (230°C/2.16 kg) in the range from 15 to 70 g/10 min, and a copolymer of propylene and ethylene, which has a value of characteristic viscosity [η] of fraction, soluble in xylol at room temperature, in the range from 5 to 9 dl/g. The said mother batch composition has the total value of the melt flow rate (230°C/2.16 kg) higher than 4 g/10 min and a value of flexural modulus, measured in accordance with the standard ISO method 178, in the range from 950 to 2000 MPa.
EFFECT: mother batch composition by the invention is intended for dispersion in a polyolefin matrix and provides obtaining finished shaped products, which have an excellent surface appearance due to reduction of the effect of emergence of "tiger stripes" in a combination of considerable reduction of the quantity of gel areas.
