FIELD: automotive industry; engine lubricating systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device for maintaining oil level in oil fitter has union mounted in cylinder block, sealing ring arranged in filter sealing channel, diaphragm with port in its upper part to pass oil and central hole for union. Diaphragm is made flat over perimeter and is hermetically secured on surface of cylinder block. At least one holder is made over perimeter of diaphragm. Diaphragm is pressed to end face surface of bay in cylinder block by means of union nut and it forms with surface of bay a channel to pass oil into filter. Diaphragm can be made of rubber. Holder is made in form of lip to prevent displacement of diaphragm at turning on of filter. Port of diaphragm is made in form of valve bending off under pressure of oil. Said valve is made by undercutting diaphragm body from top and sides. Side cuts are made at angle relative to each other.
EFFECT: prevention of oil flow from filter space.
