FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump building, namely, to pumps handling liquids with solidified sediments, hard and large-size inclusions, for instance, those operating in mine sumps, drying settlers and digging trenches in wet soils. Proposed pumping unit includes drive, housing with suction and delivery branch pipes and torque-flow wheel installed on shaft of drive. Shaft of drive is provided with shaft-insert with conical ripper with longitudinal teeth installed in tail part of shaft-insert. Ripper is located before suction branch pipe, and the latter is furnished with rigid frame base. Base is made in form of spatial truncated pyramid, and it consists of tilted side ribs connected by horizontal cross-members installed with clearance relative to each other. Invention provides preliminary preparation of liquid to be pumped before taking in by creating homogeneous suspension, crushing of consolidated bottom sediment and hard inclusions and forming torque flow of liquid around ripper providing more effective getting of liquid onto working wheel of pumping unit.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation of torque-flow pneumatic pumping unit.
