FIELD: medicine, urology.
SUBSTANCE: in patients' blood serum one should detect the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CT). At decreased SOD activity ranged 69-62 c.u./ml and increased CT activity ranged 66-74 U/ml it is possible to diagnose chronic abacterial prostatitis (CAP) of inflammatory form. At SOD activity from 62 c.u./ml and lower and increased CT activity ranged 60-66 U/ml - CAP of noninflammatory form. The innovation enables to carry out differential diagnostics between CAP forms that provides the chance to match the tactics of therapy.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
