FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for differential diagnostics of inflammatory (III A) and non-inflammatory (III B) forms of chronic abacterial prostatitis. Transrectal colour duplex mapping of prostate before and after performance for 1 minute of therapeutic prostate massage. In case of more than 2 fold change of maximal systolic rate value, inflammatory form of chronic abacterial prostatitis/syndrome of chronic pelvic pain (III A) is diagnosed. In case if dynamics in changing of maximal systolic rates of prostate gland arterial vessels is absent, non-inflammatory form of chronic abacterial prostatitis/syndrome of chronic pelvic pain (III B) is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to realise differential diagnostics between inflammatory and non-inflammatory forms of chronic abacterial prostatitis without application of contrast preparations.
