FIELD: medicine, rheumatology.

SUBSTANCE: in patients with rheumatoid polyarthritis both before and after the course of curative procedures it is necessary to sample blood out of peripheral vein. In blood samples one should detect mononuclear cell fractions that contain macrophages and lymphocytes. Moreover, it is important to detect spontaneous production of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). At decreased spontaneous production of TNF-α by the end of therapy one should consider therapy conducted to be efficient. The innovation enables to increase specificity and accuracy in evaluating therapeutic efficiency in patients with rheumatoid polyarthritis.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of evaluation.
