FIELD: mist and drop irrigation technique used in mobile and stationary sprinkler machines for producing of droplets having sizes permitted for irrigation of wide range of farm crops.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler head has body, deflector and nozzle provided with central aperture and axially fixed on pole. Nozzle is placed within body for axial movement. Nozzle central aperture is formed as three-stepped diffuser with narrowed portion at its inlet end and double-stepped portion widening toward outlet end of aperture. Widening portions of nozzle diffuser are positioned within casing of diffuser. On conical inner surface of casing diffuser, along generatrix of conical surface, there are groups of openings equally spaced from each other in transverse planes. Each of said openings within diffuser of casing has portion narrowing from inner conical surface toward outer conical surface. Deflector is oriented with its apex toward nozzle diffuser. Concave-curved bowl of deflector is arranged opposite diffuser of casing. Deflector and diffuser of casing are fixed so as to be brought together by means of threaded pins.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation of sprinkler head and wider range of irrigation water droplet sizes allowing various farm crops to be irrigated.
