FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves asking patient to listen to phonograms. Musical compositions rhythm and tempo are digitally expressed as the number of accented sounds or strikes per 1 min of musical composition playback. Patient listens to sounds representing heart work on the background of the musical composition playback and tries to integrate heart beat rhythm into the melody tempo he is listening to. Tachycardia and arrhythmia being available, musical rhythm therapy is started under condition that musical composition playback index corresponds to initial patient heart beat rate and continued to arrhythmia reduction moment. Then, the musical composition playback index is reduced by 4 units every following musical composition and the sessions are continued to the moment normal heart beat rate values are reached. Bradycardia and arrhythmia being available, musical rhythm therapy is started under condition that that musical composition playback index corresponds to initial patient heart beat rate and continues to arrhythmia reduction moment. Then, the musical composition playback index is increased by 4 units every following musical composition and the sessions are continued to the moment normal heart beat rate values are reached. Extrasystolia under normal heart beat rate being the case, therapy session is started when musical composition playback index corresponds to initial patient heart beat rate and continued to extrasystolia reduction moment. Musical composition tempos increasing heart beat rate are selected for bradycardia patients. Tachycardia patients are treated with musical composition tempos reducing heart beat rate.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in normalizing heart beat rate and arterial blood pressure; enhanced effectiveness in treating patients having contraindications against commonly applied drug therapy; enabled cardiovascular system self-control at home.
