FIELD: cooperage, in particular, manufacture of various types of wooden basins including font basins, baths, and other products.
SUBSTANCE: method involves sequentially putting rivets of product onto metal hoops; tightening hoops by means of coupling nuts; cutting out notch slot and placing bottom therein; drilling in each rivet two or more openings having diameter of from 0.3 to 0.4 the thickness of rivet, said openings extending beyond rivet edges perpendicular to longitudinal axis of rivet, and drilling bores in one or more rivets uniformly distributed along perimeter of product and in which coupling nuts of hoops are inserted, said bores having diameter of from 0.4 to 0.5 the thickness of rivet and extending beyond rivet edges, perpendicular to longitudinal axis of rivet; milling longitudinal slots. Method allows outer surface of product to be decorated with wide range of finishing decorative materials.
EFFECT: improved ergonomic properties, prolonged service life and attractive appearance of cooperage.
