FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device is designed for signaling presence of metal particles in lubricating system of gas-turbine engines and providing beginning of destruction of engine caused by chips getting into oil. Proposed detector has pack of ring current-carrying plates separated by dielectric gaskets forming calibrated slots. Detector is installed on central bushing in which holes are made to pass lubricant and is fastened by means of nut and washer in contact with one of extreme plates, pack of plates being connected to electric circuit. Washer and central bushing are made of conducting material and are placed in electric circuit together with nut. Additional bushing made of dielectric and placed between central bushing and pack of plates is provided with holes to pass lubricant said holes being arranged opposite to holes in central bushing.
EFFECT: increased strength and reliability of detector.
