FIELD: drying.

SUBSTANCE: dryer comprises conical hopper with double walls, pressure pipe mounted along the axis of the hopper and provided with the deflector for supplying thermoplastic material and ring collector connected with the system for air supply that has heater, device for preparing and cleaning air, control desk, unit for discharging the material provided with the gate, lid provided with the air duct, and halogenous (infrared) emitters and reflector. The unit for discharging material is made of a screw mounted in the pressure pipe and connected with a drive for its moving. The lid has central charging opening that receives the bushing with double walls. The outer side of the bushing is provided with through opening. The top lid is provided with a baffle made of a ring having through openings. The system for air supply is additionally provided with the air duct that connects the inner space of the lid with the ring collector having through openings in its inner side. The bottom part of the lid is provided with the horizontal heat proof baffle having central opening that is in coincidence with the charging openings in the lid of the hopper.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of drying.
