FIELD: military equipment, applicable for simulation of thermal radiations of military objectives, as well as for warming of personnel, use as infra-red beacons, warm-up of material, etc.
SUBSTANCE: the claimed device constructionally includes two cylindrical sleeves having a detachable joint, placed in one of them, having perforations in the walls, is a cylindrical catalizer unit whose inner cavity serves as an evaporative chamber, and a system of electrical and/or flame starting, and in the other - fuel fed during operation to the catalizer unit with the aid of a wick in the form of a cord of heat-resistant fibers placed in a netted or perforated tube.
EFFECT: the device unlike its analogs can operate on gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, diesel fuel and other liquid hydrocarbon fuels, and provided control of the heating power, provided transfer of thermal energy not only by radiation, but also by heat conduction via a contact with the objective.
