FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment, in particular, to devices for reducing the thermal visibility of armored vehicles when the engine is running, in order to protect against the effects of self-aiming combat elements (high-precision sub-munitions) of high-precision weapons. Above exhaust nozzle (3) of the engine exhaust system, movable box (5) with one degree of freedom in a parallel plane is installed to exhaust the engine exhaust gases. Box (5) has inlet (8) and outlet (6) holes. Box (5) is made of metal with a heat-reflecting, heat-resistant coating (7) located on inner surface thereof, and heat-reflecting, heat-resistant shields (4), located on the outer upper surface thereof and separated by one relative to other air gaps. Box (5) is attached to body (1) of the machine by means of movable fastener (2) with location of inlet (8) hole of box (5) directly above outlet (3) of the machine, as well as two return springs in such a way that when colliding with an obstacle, when the machine is moving, box (5), in order to eliminate mechanical damage thereof, deviates towards the machine and then returns to the original position under the action of the return springs, and the exhaust gas flow during engine operation occurs through outlet (6) in box (5) to the ground surface at an angle 45-50°.
EFFECT: technical result: reducing the likelihood of armored vehicle damage with a running engine with high-precision weapons.
