FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: independent catalytic heater includes fuel tank, evaporator chamber, cover, catalytic insert, support, sealing, and fuse. Fuel tank, evaporator chamber and cover are press-formed. Fuel tank and evaporator chamber are joined by tight welded joint to form a single body, catalytic insert is made in the form of annular cartridge with mesh base, substrate and double-layer catalytic matrix out of basalt fibre material impregnated with iron, chrome and cobalt oxides at weight ratio of 3:2:1. Minimal nominal diameter of lower mesh base is 0.8. Sealing is made of a heat-resistant chord.
EFFECT: independent catalytic heater with high feasibility parameters and reliable operation in field conditions for heating of various rooms, car motors, greenhouses while complying with fire safety requirements.
