SUBSTANCE: method and device are claimed for connecting a client to phone call in group communication network, which provide for receipt of an instruction from client who wishes to initiate a group call, and transmission of group call client addition request into server in case of presence of realized group call, which also ensure receipt of response from the server, which indicates presence of realizes group call, notification of client about addition to group call and receipt of media data from server after restoration of traffic channel.
EFFECT: ensured substantial reduction of common inactive state exit time and time of delay due to continued exchange of service group call signals even in case when mobile stations are inactive, or any active traffic channel is absent.
