SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with measuring the size of fundic cross section of uterine cavity on the 5th-7th d of menstrual cycle. Then it is necessary to match intrauterine contraceptive at transverse overall size being about 2-4 mm less against fundic cross section of uterine cavity. Moreover, the suggested intrauterine contraceptive contains a plastic foundation. Transverse part in the form of racks should be connected with longitudinal part as a pedicle. Copper elements should be located upon the plastic foundation. Moreover, lateral edges of copper elements upon racks are located not further that 4 mm against distal ends of racks. The device has got the plastic foundation with copper elements located upon it. Transverse part in the form of racks is connected with longitudinal part as a pedicle. Transverse overall size G of the present device has been matched out of AN≤G<(AN+2), where A1=16 mm, AN=A1+2(N-1), N=1...9. Moreover, the racks are applied at an angle to each other. The angle between distal ends of racks at the top being in the site of racks and pedicle juncture ranges 100°-165°. The innovation enables to decrease the frequency of complications due to individual matching the contraceptive and decrease blood concentration of copper ions due to applying copper elements just near the mouth of uterine tubes.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of contraception.
