FIELD: gynecology. SUBSTANCE: method is used, particularly, for contragestation, i.e. abortion as early as possible. During the period from the eighth day from unprotected coitus up to 49-th day of absence of menstruation, organism is treated to attained interruption of pregnancy due to introduction into uterus cavity of contragestation agent containing copper layer. Working surface of copper layer amount up to at least 400 sq.mm. After abortion, contragestation agent is removed from uterus. EFFECT: reduced term of abortion, blood loss, negative influences on organism as a whole, and on subsequent menstrual cycle. 4 cl, 1 dwg
