SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for introduction of biologically active substances into uterus. Intrauterine device consists of polymer frame, which is fixed to chamber for introduction of medication. Polymer frame is intended for holding device in uterus cavity and prevention of its displacement and falling out. Polymer frame has omega-like shape and contains two resilient shoulders. Shoulders possess latero-lateral shape memory. Ends of shoulders contain short lateral shoulders, which form angle with the remaining part of shoulder. Projecting polymer parts simplify upward turning of shoulders when intrauterine device is removed. Chamber for medication introduction contains in its upper end means for determination of precise position of device in uterus cavity by means of ultrasound and one or more medications. Medications are gradually relieved into uterus cavity during long time periods.

EFFECT: polymer frame adjusts to cavities of any size, maximising device tolerance.
