FIELD: gas scrubbing devices for cleaning gases from mechanical and gaseous admixtures; chemical, oil and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus has cylindrical chamber which is provided with axial-flow sprinkler blanked-off at outlet end and perforations of smaller diameter. Rigidly secured to axial-flow sprinkler are blades of hyperbolic swirler forming flow-through sections.
EFFECT: intensification of gas scrubbing process due to efficient use of working volume of apparatus.
