FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cyclone for purifying the gas flow of liquid phase droplets includes a cylindrical body with a tangential inlet for injecting the liquid phase of the gas flow contaminated with the droplet particles and a conical bottom with the liquid phase collector of impurities separated from the gas flow, equipped with a central outlet pipe for withdrawing the purified gas flow. In the lower part of the central outlet pipe, an outwardly beaded branch pipe is installed coaxially with it, into which a multi-channel swirler is placed with spiral channels of rectangular cross section. The space between the inner wall of the central outlet pipe and the outer wall of the outwardly beaded branch pipe forms a hydraulic shutter, and a clearance is provided between the lower edge of the central outlet pipe and the flanging of the branch pipe to drain the excess liquid phase from the hydraulic shutter.
EFFECT: increasing the degree of purifying gas flows of liquid phase droplets due to the formation of a two-stage effect of centrifugal forces in a single device body on the gas flow contaminated with liquid phase droplets.
