FIELD: construction, particularly covering panels.

SUBSTANCE: covering panel comprises upper belt formed of shaped boarding reinforced with tie rod in span. The tie rod is connected to rigid end beams on panel supports. End beams are fastened to shaped boarding. Rigid end beams are made as cantilevered thrusts projecting from shaped boarding. The thrusts are secured to upper and lower shaped boarding flanges and are spaced from panel supports. Distance between thrusts and panel supports is not greater than l=(2W_xR)/(qL), where l is maximal possible distance from support to panel cantilevers, L is span dimension, q is linear load to be applied to panel, R is calculated material resistance, W_x is moment of shaped boarding section resistance.

EFFECT: increased load-bearing ability of covering panel.
