FIELD: synchronous machines, in particular, methods and devices for controlling synchronization of synchronous motor.
SUBSTANCE: method includes connecting excitation winding to exciter in precisely determined time moment, where excitation is provided from signal, generated at instant value of EMF in excitation winding equal to zero and first time derivative from time function of that EMF having positive value relatively to exciter voltage. And device contains instant EMF value sensor in excitation winding, differentiating block, block for comparing to zero signal, block for determining signal sign, logics block of "AND" type, amplifier, block for controlling excitation commutator, and power block.
EFFECT: increased reliability of synchronization of synchronous motor on achievement of sub-synchronous frequency of rotation and simplification of motor control device.
