METHOD FOR JOINT GROWING OF SEEDLINGS AND PLANTLETS IN NURSERIES Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A01G1/00 

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, processes for growing of planting material.

SUBSTANCE: method involves joint growing of planting material of various ages and kinds by using seedlings as brushes planted on bare fallow one year before sowing procedure; digging out seedling brushes the same year as sowing of plantlets in case of three-year growing of seedlings and two-year growing of plantlets; in case of four- and five-year growing of seedlings after digging out of plantlets, sowing into spacing between brushes less demanding kinds with two-year growing time or after one-year fallowing - kinds with one-year growing time. In the future seedlings are dug-out together with plantlets. Spacing of 6-9 m between brushes is found most effective for forming favorable microclimatic mode conditions, with three, five sowing strips being arranged between brushes. Proposed planting material growing method allows nursery and sowing plots to be combined in single field.

EFFECT: provision for creating of advantageous climatic mode conditions for young plants, reduced costs for carrying out care and growing of high-quality seedlings and plantlets.
