SUBSTANCE: trap has rodent collecting container, cover for container equipped with opening, and bate accommodation means. Hollow member is closed at four sides and is positioned with its open lower side above cover opening. Rotating plate is pivotally connected with container cover so as to close said cover opening. Mechanism for holding rotating plate in horizontal position is furnished with adjustable braking device for adjusting trap to weight of rodent to be caught.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in catching of rodents.
